Policy Statement:

It is the goal of the college to provide quality education in all courses and programs. All faculty members are evaluated under general guidelines provided by the Negotiated Agreement and under Board Policy and Procedures. The Vice President for Instruction and Student Services, Dean of Academics, Dean of Technical Education & Workforce Development, or appropriate instructional administrator evaluates the performance of teaching personnel as a part of the ongoing evaluation of all faculty members.

Procedures:

The Vice President for Instruction and Student Services, Dean of Academics, Dean of Technical Education & Work Force Development or appropriate instructional administrator, evaluate the performance of teaching personnel as a part of the ongoing evaluation of all faculty members. Evaluations may be conducted through classroom visits, administrative evaluation, student evaluations, and self-evaluation. Probationary faculty are evaluated by all of the above components on an annual basis. Full-time faculty should refer to the Negotiated Agreement for more information regarding evaluation.
