Program Overview
The Sports Administration program at Garden City Community College prepares students
for the business and operational side of the sports industry. Students turn their
passion for athletics into a professional career by learning how sports organizations
are managed and operated.
Sports Business and Operations
Students explore key areas such as sports marketing, facility management, legal and
ethical issues, and the economic and social impact of athletics. The program builds
a strong understanding of how sports organizations function at all levels.
Hands-On Industry Skills
Coursework includes practical training in game operations, event planning, budgeting,
finance, communication, and media relations, helping students develop real-world skills
used in sports organizations.
